June 1: Saint Theobald
All we know about this saint is that he gave up a comfortable life to pursue the trades of shoemaker, street porter and church sweeper for the love of Christ. From this we should learn to seek work, even when in comfortable circumstances.
PRAYER: O Lord, help me to follow the example of Saint Theobald, remembering the sentence of mankind to work. Amen.
