March 17: Saint Patrick
We shall not dwell long on Saint Patrick, because he is so well known. One point from the Breviary should be kept in mind: It was his custom to pray to God a hundred times during the day, and a hundred times during the night. This is a simple custom, which we should imitate. It is easy. All we must do is say short prayers, such as Jesus I love you, save my soul or Jesus, Mary and Joseph . Let us start with five a day, then ten, then fifty, then up to a hundred and sanctify our night in the same manner.
PRAYER: Saint Patrick help me to learn how to pray constantly like you did and as Scripture advises me. Amen.
