July 27: Saints Natalia and Aurelius
At first this couple hid the fact that they were Christians and conformed to the Moslem customs. Then one day Aurelius saw a Christian being led to execution and was converted. From this time on he led his household in practicing the faith fervently and openly. Foreseeing what would happen, they gave their goods to the poor, except enough to assure their daughter's future. They soon obtained the crown of martyrdom.
PRAYER: Saint Natalia and Aurelia, lead all families to be prudent with their money and provide for their obligations. Amen.
