April 20: Saint Marcellinus

Since our Saviour has taken our faults on Himself, why should I not carry this burden as He Himself carried His Cross? , and lifting up his eyes to heaven he added:  Lord, I am like a beast of burden before Thee, but I am with Thee. , quoting from the Psalms.  He said this when he was obliged to carry a load to town for a mule that had just collapsed.

PRAYER: Saint Marcellinus help us to carry the burden of our daily duty cheerfully and for the love of God.  Amen.
