December 8: Saint Macarius
In Alexandria, of Saint Macarius the Martyr, who in the time of Decius, being persuaded by the judge with many speeches to deny Christ, and confessing the faith before him with constance all the greater, was at last ordered to be burnt alive.
PRAYER: Saint Macarius, help us all to keep the Faith as firmly as you did. Amen.
