May 25: Pope Saint Gregory VII
Pope Saint Gregory taught that the more obstinate evil is the greater a severe remedy is needed. He even called upon all pastors to lay down their lives rather than to be lax in maintaining the laws of God and His Holy Church.
PRAYER: Saint Gregory, indeed a severe remedy is needed for the evils of today and I need it worse than most. Lead me to accept the will of God no matter how difficult and contrary to my sinful nature. Amen.
