Saint Gengou Gangulphus
This saint is patron of unhappy marriages. His wife was flighty and a sinner, who was eventually killed by her accomplice. We are unable to find out more about this saint, but how many today among the faithful are in unhappy marriages. Although their spouses are not committing adultery like Saint Gengou's they are not fulfilling their duties. In fact, in some marriages neither party is fulfilling his or her duty to their children or each other. Let us pray to Saint Gengou to repair these marriages before someone is killed, spiritually or physically.
PRAYER: Saint Gengou, you suffered most terribly by your spouse's crimes. Lead married people today away from sins against marriage and family so that they may not suffer as you did. Amen.
